The upcoming International Federation of Classification Societies (IFCS 2026) conference Milan, Italy, 14-16 July 2026, with tutorials scheduled for 13 July 2026. IFCS 2026 will offer a dynamic interdisciplinary environment for scholars and professionals across statistics, computer science, mathematics, data science, social sciences, and related fields. The International Federation of Classification Societies (IFCS) groups the national or regional classification societies all around the world and organizes an international conference every two years since 1987.
The next European Conference on Data Analysis (ECDA2026) will take place from September 9th to 11th, 2026 at Stralsund University of Applied Sciences, Germany. ECDA is an international conference dedicated to analytical aspects of data science. It connects statistics, computer science, and practical application domains related to all aspects of data analysis. ECDA is organised under the auspices of the Gesellschaft für Klassifikation (GfKl) – Data Science Society. It will be organzied in cooperation with the European Association for Data Science (EuADS), the Polish Classification Society (Sekcja Klasyfikacji i Analizy Danych – SKAD), the Classification and Data Analysis Group (CLADAG) of the Italian Statistical Society and the British Data Science Society (BDSS). The first European Conference on Data Analysis (ECDA 2013) was jointly held by the Gesellschaft für Klassifikation (GfKl) – Data Science Society and the French-speaking Classification Society (SFC) in July 2013 at the University of Luxembourg (youtube video, proceedings published by Springer in Studies in Classification, Data Analysis, and Knowledge Organization).
